They would go out to find friends and send out invitations if they could. Since they can't do this, the MLI Program has provided tools for all of us (Nursing Homes, Families, Friends, Visitors and Helpers) to get these invitations out for them.

1. BROCHURES for nursing homes to give to prospective families and to distribute through the local community. Click on either image.

2. POSTERS FOR COMMUNITY BULLETIN BOARDS to be distributed and posted through the local community, inviting people in to share a good time at the board. As you give your business to area stores, such as grocery stores, gas stations, doctor's offices, drug stores, clothing stores, restaurants, etc, ask them to place a few on their front counters or put up a poster in their window, on their front door or on the wall behind their counter. There are also lots of bulletin boards including colleges and churches where people would like to have this information. It's just being a good neighbor.

3. CERTIFICATE OF VISITOR RECOGNITION for businesses who pledge 30 minutes a month to send an employee to read letters and do other board activities with the residents in a neighboring nursing home.

4. NEWSLETTER INSERT for nursing home newsletters.

5. FRONT DOOR POSTERS (1 only of 10) to let anyone walking through the those doors, know that the Mail Board is waiting to be shared.

6. HALLWAY POSTERS (1 only of 10) to remind visitors and residents that a good time can be shared at the Mail Board.

7. MY LETTERS INTERNATIONAL WEB SITE is a service to Activity Departments of all nursing homes. The service is to explain the MLI program's contents, benefits and uses, to nursing home administrators, staff, families, visitors and local communities containing a nursing home. Individuals know what to expect and what to do with the activities, when they visit residents.

8. EMBLEM ON ACTIVITIES PAGE OF NURSING HOME'S WEB SITE so families and friends can immediately know if the home they are researching, offers the Activities Mail Board program.
